If the pod isn’t popping up correctly or the shape looks off, sometimes the internal wires can shift slightly. The good news is this is usually easy to fix.
Here’s a quick step-by-step guide:
- Lay the Pod flat and unzip the side doors fully. This removes tension from the frame.
- Turn the Pod upside down. It makes the wire easier to work with.
- Rework the wires: Hold the wire about 12 inches apart and gently straighten it using a circular “push out → down → back toward you” motion. The wire is a memory wire, so it should return to its correct shape.
- Flip the Pod upright and shake gently. Hold the front middle corners and shake it like you would shake out a rug — this helps the wires settle.
Test opening/closing. It should pop up and fold more easily afterward.
