About the Clear Pods
Why clear? What's the difference between clear and other pod materials?
Our clear pods use crystal-clear PVC panels that give you an unobstructed 360° view from every angle. You see the field, the refs, the bleachers — all of it, without craning your neck around an umbrella or squinting through tinted mesh. Our other pod options include mesh for warm-weather bug protection and opaque PVC in various colors. The clear version is the go-to for sports parents who don't want to miss a single second of the action.
Will the clear panels fog up or get condensation inside?
Some light condensation can form on the inside of the panels in very cold or humid conditions — this is normal with any enclosed space. A quick wipe with a soft cloth keeps it crystal clear. Most customers find this is a minor non-issue compared to, say, standing in the rain with a broken umbrella.
How do I choose between the MyPod Large, XL, and MegaPod?▾
Simple breakdown:
MyPod™ Large (40×40") — Solo sideline warrior. One chair, one person, maximum coziness.
MyPod™ XL (46×46") — The sweet spot. Great for one person who wants room to breathe, or two people sharing a cozy pod. Our best-seller for good reason.
MegaPod® (58×58") — Bring the whole crew. Fits 2–4 adults in their own chairs. Perfect for families, grandparents, or that one aunt who always comes to the games.
Do I need to buy a chair separately?▾
Yes — the pod is the shelter, you bring your own chair. Our pods are designed to work with standard folding camp/sports chairs. Set up your pod, pull your chair inside, zip up, and enjoy the view. The chair is not included, but the dry, wind-free comfort? Absolutely included.
Setup & Use
How fast does the pod actually pop up? And fold back down?
Pop-up: under 10 seconds. Seriously. Our patented design springs open with a single toss — no poles, no assembly, no instruction booklet. Folding it back is a two-handed twist motion that takes about the same time. It clicks into a flat disc and slips right back into the carry bag. We've had customers time themselves at 6 seconds. We respect the commitment.
Will the pod stay put in wind? Is it anchored somehow?
The pod is designed to be used with you sitting inside it — your body weight naturally anchors it. In light-to-moderate wind, it's very stable. In exceptionally strong gusts, you can use stakes or tie-downs if needed (we carry accessories). We don't recommend leaving an empty pod unattended in high wind — it's not a tent, it's a personal pod built for you to be in it.
Can I enter and exit the pod easily mid-game?
Absolutely. The pod has a zippered entry panel that opens wide enough for easy in-and-out access. Bathroom break, snack run, consoling your kid after a tough ref call no problem. You can be in and out quickly without disrupting the whole setup.
